Ever since Suarez stated that it would be a good
for a change rumours of his transfer have consistently been echoed by various
sources. This also falls his hint that it would be "difficult to say
no" to Real Madrid. The Spanish giants had been expected to spearhead the
pursuit of the 26-year-old Uruguayan.
It has, emerged that the frugal gunners
wanted to take Suarez to Emirates at £30m a move that has been rejected by
Liverpool. Liverpool however, refused to comment on reports of Arsenal's move
and have previously insisted Suarez is not for sale.
The Chelsea the blues have also been linked
with a move for Suarez. It thus remains to be seen if Wenger will pursue him further.
This comes as manager Arsene Wenger finalises a
deal for Real Madrid's star Gonzalo Higuain.
Loaded Real are
expected to emerge as the litmus test of Liverpool's position not to sell
Suarez unless they receive an offer in the region of the 50m. A similar amount saw
Fernando Torres move to Chelsea in January 2011.
Liverpool manager
Brendan Rodgers remains relaxed about Suarez's situation just as the striker is
yet to notify to the club that he wishes to leave.
Liverpool are known for their firm stance on desire
to part with their best players even if Liverpool's hand is forced by the
player's own discontent they will not be pushed into a raw deal.
Suarez is currently
on a vacation after playing for his Uruguay side in the concluded
Confederations Cup in Brazil and is yet to return to Merseyside. The players
bad conduct will see him miss out the first six matches of the 2013 -14
campaign after being found guilty of violent conduct for biting
Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovicin April.
Our snoops have informed us that Wenger’s
right hand scouts have been sported in the township where Suarez is currently staying
and are expected to convince him to join Emirates.
